Derrick cranes were developed in response to the global boom in skyscraper construction, and they address two challenges: dismantling cranes from high roofs and bringing in finishing materials and advancing the building envelope after dismantling the cranes on site.
These cranes have dismantling capabilities suitable for all cranes, from any structure, and with significant weights. A giant derrick crane can dismantle cranes from heights of up to 400 meters and carry weights of up to 18 tons.
A derrick crane can be mounted on roofs and tall buildings. Its long support arm enables transporting and lifting power units or cooling systems of large weights and dismantling cranes at the end of construction.
